Currently in the works is the organization of Cornell Cycling's Ithacross! Tentatively (very!) Saturday, September 27, 2008.
I conceived the idea in the fall while riding around for 'cross training but never gave it serious thought until a few days ago. Then I said, "Why the hell not?" Ithaca deserves a legitimate cyclocross event. I think this is the start of something great.

catamount UCI is that weekend
no one who is UCI speed would ever drive to Ithaca for anything. except me of course.
plus catamount UCI didn't happen last year. in any case, that's about as good a "conflict" as you'll find on the fall schedule.
